A visit to the farm with children

Goats, chickens and a llama oh my!

I had a chance to visit our local farm last week with my son's class of curious two and three year-olds - little people who possessed the purest delight over the colorful and lively landscape, who had absolutely no fear of animals and no squeamish concern about germs, dirt and dung.

I love that children constantly remind us how to see and look again, more openly, the way we used to and still can, to see the world with a fresh and unfettered lens...

  1. What fun! And I agree with you wholeheartedly, a young person's perspective is often just what we need to see the world anew. xo

  2. Adorable. I love days like this. Can I also just say how charming it is that you add a little French to your titles? I'm always extra charmed.

  5. Are you sure you weren't in Nebraska recently? :) It is a shame we cannot be more childlike in our interactions. Lovely images Catherine.

  6. What a delightful collage and post! How lovely it would've been to see this day through the eyes of little ones, I'm sure it was a terrific time had by all (including the non-little ones:)
