On this splendid morning an awakened Spring called Paris out of its sleepy winter slumber, and convinced us the seasons were finally shifting toward sunnier warmer days...

  1. It just hit me - Exactly why I love your Paris photos so much! Paris is such a timeless place....you feel it when you're there. That generations have come and gone and very little has changed. Your photos capture that feeling! This thought specifically hit me with that fourth shot - but it is the reason why all your photos resonate so strongly with me and transport me!

    1. To capture and convey a feeling that transports the viewer,... I think those are the most gratifying words anyone could say to a photographer. Oh Adrienne, thank you... that means so much to me. It's the best reward! xo

  8. oh thank you for taking us to Montmartre - I remember it of course from our Paris trip 10 years ago. I loved the artists in the streets. We went to our friend's cousin's apartment and then had dinner here somewhere at a street side cafe. Wonderful memories.

  11. In these shots, I see a place that knows how to do what must be done, whether it's working or resting. Well done.

  14. This series of photos, Catherine, does convey the feeling of a city awakening to spring. I especially liked the people sitiing outdoors and those walking along cobblestone paved walkways.
