    The outdoor lights are one of my favorite things about Christmas. Your photos show that they are subtly beautiful even in the daylight.

    That is something I miss all year around: twinkling lights. I do not see it much here but I remember when I lived in Germany (which your photos remind me of) it was the first signal the holidays were approaching.
